EMS Chromebook Distribution Tomorrow!
Please make sure your student’s $25 Chromebook fee is paid, along with any outstanding repair fees listed in Infinite Campus to ensure your student can take their Chromebook home.
Payment can easily be made online via MySchoolBucks, or you can send cash or a check directly with your student to school.
We are officially "going places" this year, and we appreciate your support in getting our students equipped and ready for a great school year!

What an incredible first day of school! It was wonderful to see so many happy, smiling faces walking through our doors today. The energy in the building was contagious, and our students did an outstanding job jumping right into the new school year.
As we settle into our daily routines, please keep a few important reminders in mind:
Arrival & Dismissal Patience
Thank you in advance for your patience as arrival and dismissal take a bit longer during the first week or two as everyone learns the process.
Car Rider Arrival: To keep the line moving smoothly, please have your student exit your vehicle as soon as you pull up to a cone.
Car Rider Dismissal: If all numbered parallel spots are filled, please pull into a slanted parking spot. We will have staff outside to help guide you and assist with backing out safely.
Bus Riders: Please make sure your child knows their home address and afternoon bus number to prevent any confusion, delays, or accidentally boarding the wrong bus.
Chromebook Reminders
Distribution: Chromebooks will be sent home with students this Friday.
Fees: Please log into Infinite Campus to check if your student has any outstanding repair fees from last year.
Technology Fee: If you haven’t already paid the $25 Chromebook fee, please send it with your student or pay online via MySchoolBucks.

To help avoid parking and traffic issues, please try to attend during your student's designated grade-level time slot:
**8th Grade:** 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
**7th Grade:** 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
**6th Grade:** 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
(If you have students in multiple grades, feel free to pick whichever single time slot works best for your family!)
Parking Information:
If the front parking lot is full, you can park in front of County by the EMS bus doors and enter through there.
Where to Get Schedules:
**6th Grade:** Pick up schedules directly in the cafeteria.
**7th & 8th Grade:** Community class lists will be posted on the walls. Find your student's name to identify their community teacher, then visit that teacher's room to pick up their schedule.
App & Gymnasium Activities:
Please download the PBIS Rewards Family App ahead of time so you can quickly link to your student when you get their QR code from their community teacher!
Stop by the gym to connect with our athletic coaches, PTSO officers, and community partners!

There is a new school bus safety law 🚌 Drivers traveling in BOTH directions on ALL roads must come to a complete stop when a school or church bus has its stop arm extended and red lights flashing.
The only exception is if you are traveling in the opposite direction on a road with four or more lanes that is physically separated by an elevated barrier or an unpaved median.
